Congratulations to Katie, Lochie and Ed who have won prestigious Arkwright Scholarships after successfully negotiating a tough application process in which they demonstrated that they have what it takes to be a future leaders in Engineering.
Assisted by the Product Design Departments, the children passed a design exam, completed a detailed application form and impressed during a panel interview, where they talked in detail about a technical project they had worked on. The children have been awarded significant prizes which they will use to support their further studies towards a career in Engineering, as well as each being linked with a relevant industrial sponsors.
The Arkwright Scholarship is supported and sponsored by some of the UK's biggest and most influential design & engineering companies, who use it as a talent-scouting exercise.
