ICT Teacher Assistant

We have a vacancy for an ICT Teacher Assistant from 21 November 2018 until 26 June 2019.  The hours of work will be from 8.30 am to 2.40 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with 30 minutes unpaid for lunch, a total paid working week of 17 hours, during term time only.

ICT Teacher Assistants support the teaching staff within the classroom and with administration.  They also supervise children in the playground.

The salary will be £5,991 to £6,666, which equates to Scale Points B4 to C8 on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Administrator/Receptionist in e-Plus

We invite applications for the post of e-Plus Administrator in our dynamic Wrap Around Care Services.  This permanent, full-time post during term time only requires excellent organisational, administrative and secretarial skills as well as an ability to work efficiently as part of a large team.  The successful candidate will work closely with two other part-time office colleagues to oversee all administration and reception duties, deal with enquiries and process bookings efficiently for our families. The successful applicant should have had experience in a similar role meeting multiple demands within a busy office or school environment.

The hours of work are 8.15 am to 2.45 pm, Monday to Wednesday, and 8.15 am to 6.00 pm on Thursday and Friday, during term time only.  The salary will be within the range £16,098 to £17,100 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Teacher Assistant (Nursery, including Early Birds)

We are looking to appoint TWO Teacher Assistants in the Nursery from Monday 29 October 2018, to include working in our Early Birds provision as part of our e-Plus services.  The hours of work are from 7.30 am to 8.15 am in Early Birds and from 8.15 am to 12.30 pm in the Nursery, Monday to Friday, a total paid working week of 25 hours, during term time only.

This post is initially in the Snowdrop Room (3 year old children).  There is an expectation for the successful applicant to have the relevant qualification required for the Registration of Practitioners with the Scottish Social Services Council or to be willing to work towards a relevant qualification within three years of appointment.

The salary will be £8,958 to £9,591, which equates to Scale Points B4 to C8 on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales, dependent on qualifications and experience.

In order to appoint the right candidates, a job share would be considered.
