Deputy Manager (After School and Holiday Club - P1-3)

The ESMS Junior School is seeking to appoint a part time Deputy Manager on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible until 31 December 2022 to support a period of absence. The postholder will work within an enthusiastic and dynamic team, successful candidates will be responsible for the out of school care of boys and girls aged from 3 to 7 years based at Ravelston. 

We require the postholder to work Monday to Friday during term time and on a rota basis during holiday periods. Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 12:45pm to 6:00pm, a working week of 26.25 hours per week during term time and 26.25 hours per week on a rota basis during holiday periods. 

The salary range is £20,120 - £22,098 (pro-rata) per annum, which is at point SEPLP 25-28 of the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales, and the salary appointment will be dependent upon relevant experience.

Visiting Music Teacher of Guitar

Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools (ESMS) are recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Visiting Teacher of Guitar. The successful candidate will have experience both as a professional performer and also in instrumental teaching at all levels, from beginners to those seeking to apply for University Scholarships.

The Visiting Music Teacher will be self employed and will be required to undertake mandatory training at the start and throughout their engagement with ESMS. A degree of flexibility is required in this role. However, we anticipate that the postholder will undertake at least 6 hours of teaching per week with the possibility of the number of hours to be increased.

Early Years Practitioner

We are currently recruiting for a full time temporary Early Years Practitioner in the ESMS Junior School from 22 August 2022 (or as soon after as possible) until 22 December 2022 (with the possibility of this being extended until the end of session).

Hours of work will be Monday 8:15am to 3:15pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8.15am to 3.45pm, and Wednesday and Friday 8.15am to 3.30pm and a total of 34 hours per week during term time only. The salary range is £23,292 – £25,350 per annum, which is at point 21-24 of the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales, dependent on experience and qualifications.

School Nurse

We are seeking to appoint a part-time, School Nurse to join our Schools on a temporary basis from 22 August 2022 (or as soon after as possible) until 30 June 2023.

Food Service Assistants

We are seeking to appoint two Food Service Assistants (also known as Lunch Supervisors) to join the ESMS Junior School on a permanent basis and on temporary basis from 22 August 2022 (or as soon after as possible) until 30 November 2022.
