Of those who went on to university this year, 26% are attending English, Welsh and Northern Irish universities, 67% are attending Scottish universities and some Sixth Formers are choosing to attend universities in North America. Significant numbers attend Russell Group universities and Oxbridge.
These numbers compare favourably with the 68% of school leavers going on to Higher or Further Education from all Scottish schools. 3 Sixth Form Students are moving into Further Education while 7 from Stewart’s Melville College and 7 from The Mary Erskine School are taking gap years before university.
